Behind the Scenes of
The Storyteller
Valo Media didn’t start in a boardroom—it started in the mountains, on the boat, and at the bmx park in the back yard. Back then, I wasn’t thinking about content or marketing—I was just chasing the next trick. All of those moments stuck with me. The stories I told weren’t just about what I did—they were about who I was with in that moment.
It wasn’t until years later and a sponsorship with GoPro that my eyes were open to the world of video production. Thinking back to all of the fun memories of wakeboarding, snowboarding and skating. Having such limited footage of the early days, I set out to document every trick landed, every contest won, and of course, every fall taken.
That’s when the idea hit. What if I didn’t just capture my moments? What if I could help others showcase their passions? What if I could help tell the stories that matter? So I built Valo Media—first to document the athletes and creators who inspired me, then to help brands and businesses share their purpose and passion. From backflips to product launches, our mission has always been simple: tell stories that inspire.
Storytelling is universal. It happens on the chairlift. Out on the water. Around a campfire. And yes, over a well-earned beer at the end of the day. The Storyteller is a tribute to that. This isn’t just a drink. It’s a conversation starter. A reminder that every person, every brand, and every ride has a story worth telling—and we’re here to help you tell it.
